It can be glued behind tiles, glass, wood, carpets, plastic and so on, and is automatically ready for operation after 2 seconds. Tapping the surface of these materials with your finger will produce an output signal. The cast electronics fulfil all requirements in terms of sealing against water and dust, vandal-proofing and design freedom. An automatic calibration function continually compensates any environmental effects.With a power consumption oftyp. 5 uA at 4.75 – 7 V/DC, it is eminently suitable for battery applications. Higher supply voltages up to 30V are permitted when using series resistor RV, however the operating current should be limited to 1 mA. |
