Description | Power clamp with spacer element, sliding 7500E Quick-action toggle clamps operate on the toggle principle, which enables wide and fast opening of the clamping mechanism. The workpieces are completely exposed and can therefore be freely removed. The high final ratio generates high clamping forces at low effort. Automatic blocking in the clamping position prevents the clamping system to open through machining forces. Choice of the right clamping mechanism size depends on the forces involved (see tables). The forces are indicated in kN and differ in retention force F1 or F2. Application fields: The favourable force and movement conditions and easy handling allow versatile application of the toggle clamps. They are employed in the metal industry for drilling, welding, bending, grinding, testing and mounting just like in the woodworking and plastic processing industry for gluing, drilling, cutting and milling devices. The clamping force is the force which is exercised from the clamping arm onto the workpiece when the clamping mechanism is being closed. As opposed to the horizontal cylinder attachments, the clamping forces cannot be stated for pneumatic manual clamping devices because they depend on the operator. The retention force is the force by which the closed clamping arm counteracts the machining forces occurring on the workpiece without permanent deformation. It is greater than the clamping force because the level dead centre must be overcome when the closed clamping mechanism is being pushed back. -Clamping force 25 kN -Made of alloyed tempered steel, forged -Robust clamping element for variable clamping heights -Moveable base element Delivery: Base element, carrier element, pressure pad with smooth surface and fastening set no. 7500BZ. Note: Position and secure the spacer element on the tool table. Push the base element into the desired position on the spacer element. It is then ready for operation. Adjust the height of the clamping arm with the adjusting screw and clamp the tool. The very robust design enables quick and easy clamping.
