The fan at the bottom of the mattress pushes air through, acting as both a radiator and a dehumidifier. Air is expelled out of the mattress via the fan and drawn in through the double meshed front and side areas, meaning that the fresh air in your room will be drawn inside. There are three variable ventilation settings; high, medium and low.There are also three variable timer settings; 6 hours, 8 hours and 10 hours. The quiet, small-sized fan expels air from the mattress and is designed to make as little noise as possible so as not to interfere with your sleep. The material used for the surface of the mattress is extremely absorbent and breathable.The 10 mm thick spacer has excellent elasticity, allowing air to pass through while at the same time comfortably supporting your body. As the half-sized mattress is easily attached and detached, the entire mat is machine washable, making it easy to clean. A specially designed cover which prevents obstructions in airflow is also included. Comes with a special sheet cover that is designed not to block the air intake duct. During a comparison with a standard mattress, a sensor was left to observe the moisture and temperature levels between the mattress and a user's back for a period of 90 minutes.
