Items available within the series include LED transmitter and photodiodes, phototransistors and integrated solutions (TTL-compatible) as receiver. The V-version plastic connector housing offers no cross talk and interference-free transmission from a light-tight housing. The transparent polymer package has an opening for a 2.2mm fibre end to be inserted. Both transmitter and receiver can be positioned flexibly and the V-version plastic connector housing is auto-insertable and wave solderable. With an extended temperature range of -40 to 85°C and a 650nm light emitting diode (LED) and Si detectors, the SFH series offers high reliability and excellent linearity, with no requirement for fibre stripping.
