In addition to the previously existing protection features these inverters are equipped with an output side circuit breaker. This means that the built-in input fuse does not need to be exchanged when the device is inadvertently overloaded. The devices also feature a new, adjustable, automatic switch-on feature, which means that they can now also respond to small loads such as weak energy-saving lamps. In contrast to more lightweight devices with HF transformers these devices can be overloaded for a short time up to 300% as a result of their high-quality ring core transformers. Other advantages include the much lower HF and EMC interference radiation as well as their improved efficiency compared to HF-switched voltage transformers. In the case of these transformers the sine voltage is generated by a triple conversion of the signal along with the respective HF interference. For transformers in the SP series with a network output transformer the signal is simply processed and then transmitted. The SP series also enables idle loads such as fluorescent tubes, microwaves, motors etc., to be operated at almost full output power. The integrated, temperature-controlled fan ensures that full power is also reliably provided at constant loads and high ambient temperatures. Made in Germany.
