The µC-controlled DC-UPS has numerous functions. The most important is the constant monitoring to ensure that the battery has enough capacity in case of power failure, in order to guarantee the supply to the consumer. New to the UPSI-2401 is a timer function (2 min - 6 min-20 min - off selectable via DIP switch) and a load sensor. Features Reboot function: If the power comes back during a power failure and the shutdown phase of Windows® is already initiated the operating system shows the message "you can turn off your PC now". The reboot function on the other hand, shuts the system off after a shutdown and performs a reboot after about 10 seconds later.
