These transformers are designed for use in 5V and ±12Vd.c. power supplies when used in conjunction with readily available bridge rectifiers and regulators. Designed for through hole soldering direct to PCB's; mechanical fixing can be supplemented by 4 self-tapping screws (No.4 x 9.5 mm max. on the 6VA to 30VA transformers and M3 on the 45VA transformers) using holes moulded into the corners of the case.
