Once the Cadillock Alarm is activated, there continues to be voltage of about 12 volts and a current of 10 A (depending on the battery) is available. These levels are sufficient to secure the car’s stored electronic data and prevent an interference with the functionality of the control devices; at the same time, there is no deletion of the electric vehicle data (board computer, navigation device, etc.) – but it isn’t possible to start the engine.The Cadillock Alarm, the top model in the Cadillock line, combines the immobiliser function with an additional modern and high-performance alarm system. This combination of two security technologies offers the user a dual anti-theft protection: The alarm system scares off thieves and the immobiliser function prevents the vehicle from being started.
