The display has an integrated resistive touch screen with a bezel-free surface. The system withstands liquids, dust and dirt, is easy to clean and catches the eye with its sleek and modern design, every day. Powerful components for reliable continuous operation and cleverly fitting peripheral devices increase the complete system's attractiveness. The flat, aluminium-housed panel contains the complete PC system. Take advantage of this feature and install the device without its stand directly to a wall bracket or swivel wall mount using its VESA mounting capability. This opens interesting possibilities at the checkout, while saving a lot of space. The stable stand for desktop operation makes sure that it stays in its place even in hectic everyday business. The resistive touch screen (optionally projected capacitive) has a screen size of 38.1 cm (15'') and a resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels, which ensures appealing picture quality. Additionally, it has a brightness of 250 Nits and displays up to 16.2 million colours. The efficient Intel Celeron G540 Dual Core processor with 2.5 GHz always offers the exact amount of performance needed, while 4 GB DDR3 memory (optionally expandable to 8 GB) provide for fast processing, even of demanding applications. Choose between various storage media for what best fits your needs. Colormetrics equipped the P2300 with an HDD or SSD hard drive with 320 GB or more (HDD) and 60 GB or more (SSD). As needed you easily and quickly access it, and you may exchange it directly in an emergency. A backup battery is also available to protect the system and data in case of a power blackout. The P2300 comes with many connection options to ensure uncomplicated integration into existing infrastructures: a Gigabit LAN port for direct network connectivity, a VGA outlet to plug in a secondary monitor, four USB 2.0 ports, three RS232 interfaces, as well as keyboard, cash drawer, loudspeaker and microphone connectors. The power button lies outside of the customer's sight, practically situated at the bottom right on the rear side of the panel; this prevents users from accidentally turning off the system. Further increase the P2300's performance with a clever choice of optional peripheral devices. Address people directly through a VFD customer display or additional monitor (available sizes: 20.3 cm/8'' or 38.1 cm/15''), to show them information on special offers and generate additional sales. Improve efficiency and workflow with a 1D/2D scanner, waiter's lock MSR, Smart Card, RFID or fingerprint reader. All readers are fixed to the monitor in a space-saving and readily accessible manner. This appealing system comes standard with black or white housing. On demand, and for projects of a certain size, the system is available in many attractive colours. The P2300 also supports many operating systems, such as Linux or Windows POSReady. |
