GALEP-5 an extremely fast universal programmer in the pocket size. The focal point of the use lies in the areas development, service and the unique possibility of the mobile component programming. Because of its short program times, GALEP-5 is however usable also in the production. GALEP-5 is a real universal talent and a professional program device to an astonishing low price. High-Speed Programming: The program algorithms run on an internal 200 MIPS ARM-9 processors under Embedded Linux. Over a FPGA, the processor controls directly the pin drivers and guaranteed such an optimal adaptation of the component at the program algorithms. The program times reach nearly at the minimally possible times of the component. The internal 64 MB RAM stores the data even for larger components in the device; the data needs to be transmitted only once even in case of multiple programming.48 universal pin driver: A optimal signal quality guaranteed expressly for the series of GALEP developed pin driver chip for the component to be programmed. At every 48 Pins following signals are available: Logic output: High level of 1.3 V up to 5.0 V adjustable. Logic input: switching threshold from 0.5 to 5.0 V adjustable. Three program voltages independent from one another up to 25 V, Ground. 3 different switchable loads for Pullup and Pulldown. Adjustable clock speed. GALEP-5 support: "In-system-programming" and JTAG.Operation without power supply: GALEP-5 provides completely out of the USB interface of the PC. As a rule neither batteries nor a power supply are required. Safety: Before every action, the power consumption, correct position and the contacts of all pins are automatically tested at the component. It therefore largely impossible to destroy component or device through false operation. Software: Next to reason functions as read, program, compare and delete comfortably adjust special functions of the selected component. The Editor allows many options for editing the component contents, which can be loaded or saved in binary, Intel hex, Motorola-S or Jedec formats. The mass-production is supported through statistics functions and serial numbers programming. The software is permanently developed.
