This is a welcome contrast to more basic digital microscopes that offer magnification adjustment only in stepped intervals. Also on the microscope unit is a rotating control for dimming the DigiMicro 2.0 Scale's 8 LEDs to provide best lighting conditions for image capture. Images or video are captured at the press of the shutter button, also located on the main unit.dnt provide all of their USB digital microscopes with useful measurement software that can be used to take measurements on captured images for length, area and radius to an accuracy of 1 micrometre (μm = 1/1000 mm). Using the software, it is also possible to make textual and graphical annotations on captured images and save and email. This is particularly useful when using the digital microscope for quality control purposes. Other useful accessories include a metal pedestal stand and USB cable for connecting to a PC.
