All PSUs in this series feature over voltage protection (OVP) that protects connected consumers against high voltage but now also adjustable over current protection. This switches off the output as soon as 0-100% adjustable threshold of nominal current is reached and protects the consumer from developing a defect due to over current and so prevents damage. The set values of current and voltage are mutually adjusted so that the max. power from P = U x I is not exceeded. This allows you to work with either a high output voltage or high output current. You can monitor and control the device remotely via the standard built-in USB port. You can even connect it serially to other devices with the help of separately available license extension. Thus the devices become particularly suitable for education and training companies, industrial and system applications, factories and development laboratories and institutes.
