The speed of these centrifugal fans, when equipped with an external rotor, can be adjusted by reducing the supply voltage using a variable speed controller.The impeller is crimped straight onto the rotor.For single inlet models, the casing is made of unpainted injected aluminium.For double inlet models, the casing is made of galvanised steel.Applications: industry, maintenance, etc. (forced ventilation systems for electrical equipment and rotary machines.)Variable speed controllers are also available.Thermal protection by thermocontact and windings. ref.
