Especially varnished or round surfaces are often a problem, when it is not possible to drill a hole, use an edge clip, to set a weld stud, or where methods are too time consuming and expensive. It becomes even more crucial when considering surfaces like PE or PP to where a standard adhesive base does not work properly.For those applications the new flexible mounting base range was developed with special adhesive for special purposes. These bases have a very strong bond on painted surfaces. The adhesive tape is made of a acrylate mass with a good initial tack. These properties now enables for the first time to stick a cable tie mount onto round and angled plastics with low surface energy like PP or PE. Moreover the flexible self-adhesive mount allows a greater design freedom, offers uniform stress distribution as well as weight reduction opportunities |
