It allows three display panels to show off the same duplicate video contents from a single DisplayPort-enabled computer. It offers two distinct display modes that can be automatically switched to, depending on the resolution - When the resolution is within 1920 x 1200, the splitter will output video signals in clone view mode, so that three display panels are showing off one same duplicate video contents. However, if the resolution goes beyond 1920 x 1200, it will output the video signals in extended Trio-View mode, and one video content of 3840 x 1024 max. will be split into three distinct display panels (1280 x 1024 max for each physical display). The switching between the clone view mode and the Trio-View mode are automatic and solely dependent on whether the resolution used is beyond the 1920 x 1200 resolution threshold.
