InnoDisk’s serial ATA Disk on Module (SATADOM) supports SATA III standard (6.0Gb/s) interface. The 7th pin of standard SATA 7pin connector can be the built-in power VCC pin therefore it could be connected directly to the SATA on-board socket without the need for an additional power cable. The SATADOM-SV 3SE SSDs can work under harsh environments, effectively reduce the booting up time of operation system and have a lower power consumption than hard disk drive (HDD). These SSDs are an ideal replacement for traditional hard disks and allow for smaller personal computer design. The SATADOM-SV 3SE complies with ATA protocol, no additional drives are required, and can be configured as a boot device or data storage device.
