This 75 Ohm RF coax Type 43 connector uses a Posi-Lock latch mechanism to esnure secure coupling and a Quick Termimation (QT) system incorporating a connector body with a pre-assembled centre contact which provides a gas tight connection between the inner conductor of the cable and connector contact. Typical applications for these 75 Ohm Type 43 Posilock sockets include switching equipment, DSX cross connects, base stations, routers, wireless, telecoms and LAN equipment. ITT Series 75Ω RF Connectors for use in telecommunication applications on digital distribution frames (DDF). The assembly of a ’QT’ connector requires a few basic steps in the preparation of the cable, and the use of a simple assembly tool - which is supplied with each cable-mounted connector. The outer ferrule of all types does require the use of a dedicated crimp tool. Standard and high density sizes using either the Quick Termination (QT) or standard crimp termination method.
