The relay is activated when rain is detected on the sensor plate and de-activated when water is no longer present. Integrated heating avoids standing water on the plate once it has stopped raining.Potential projects could include motorised windows, automated awnings or even automatic washing line covers! To use this module with 240V appliances, a secondary relay is required, activated on basis of the module's 12V signal. Choosing this relay depends on your application.
