| Description | Controller 2x Serial ATA II RAID 0/1/0 +1/5 PCI Express x1 Low Profile The top two-port Serial ATA controller offers two ports for connection of modern powerful drives. The controller is suitable for older computers without Serial ATA ports, as well as in newer machines for the expansion of existing ports. Fully compliant with Serial ATA 1.0 with transfer speeds up to 150 Mbytes/a Serial ATA II standard with speeds up to 300 MB/s The advantage is the support NCQ. The card connects to a computer using a modern PCI Express x1 interface. It has support for RAID modes 0, 1, 0 +1, 5 and JBOD. The card is of the Low-Profile and is thus also suitable for miniature computer stations. NCQ technology imposes requirements on reading into the buffer, and knowing the position of the read heads sets the optimal route for the quickest move to the desired location. Requirements for disk access are continually evaluated and trail heads are still modified. As a result, it will reduce the vibration scanner and speed up access to the drive connected to the Serial ATA port. The card meets the European Union RoHS directive prohibiting the use of hazardous substances in electrical products, is much more environmentally friendly.
