Since classified as "Reserve genus", a reprocessing was delayed. Only on request by RD Witte five locomotives were provided with complete new building boilers (45 010 016, 019, 021, 023). This locomotive joined the large Wagner smoke deflectors. After a brief shutdown phase mid-50s the locomotives, 45 010 016 and 023 reactivated for the Lok Laboratory Minden again and given the small Witte smoke deflectors. |
