The ETech TFTs are “plug and play” devices with a simple interface, aiming to aid developers and to speed up the development process. The ETech TFT panels have a serial UART/USB interface on board which helps to simplify driving the display. Available in portrait and landscape orientations, the Midas TFT screens have a 6 o’clock viewing angle. The ETech TFTs also have a built in touch interface. The Midas range of serial TFT modules offer the ability to store images which are then selected for display using serial commands. This overcomes the need to transfer large amounts of data over the serial interface. The display can be used through the upload of bmp images or in vector mode.
