They are available as LPT as well as USB-versions. One programmer and the serial communication with the PC are completely integrated on the boards. Furthermore, the typical input and output devices, such as potentiometer, scanner, speaker and LEDs are also present on the boards. The connections between the I/O devices and controller ports can be freely configured using patch sockets. For additional boards, like the myAVR LCD Add-On or the Laboratory card, all myAVR boards possess at least one extension socket, at which the ports as well as the on-board voltage are lead. The myAVR Workpad SE is a German development environment for creating, compiling, burning and testing the Assembler programmes for the myAVR boards. It offers a lot of useful functions, e.g. there are templates and examples for the frequently used functions, bookmarks are monitored automatically and there exists a short reference for all commands and tabs.
