These tube lamps feature a special phosphor and an additional phosphor layer, which ensure that the spectrum of the light colour YELLOW Special contains wavelengths larger than 500 nm only, which is visible as yellow light. These coloured fluorescent lamps are used in rooms where no UV or blue component is allowed in the spectrum. The yellow light is invisible to many insects; therefore ideal applications of the LT-T8 YELLOW Special fluorescent tubes are in areas requiring to be free from insect.
