They offer a high flux output from a small surface area, making them ideal for use in spotlights. OSRAM’s SOLERIQ P 6 LEDs were designed specifically to work in directional lighting applications such as retail lighting, shop lighting, and outdoor lighting. The SOLERIQ P 6 series have a CoB package with a light emitting surface 6 mm in diameter, containing 9 chips. This CoB package type enables the user to create a simple lighting design. Available in a choice of white colour options within a 3-step MacAdam ellipse, these LEDs have a CRI greater that 80 or 90. The SOLERIQ P 6 LEDs are suitable replacements for traditional 35 W HID lamps.
