Their small packages, alongside high outputs, make the OSLON range high in efficiency and ideal for applications such as infrared illumination for cameras. Properties include thin-film chip technology, excellent heat expenditure properties and the ability to operate at high currents. These IR LEDs fall between the lower powered IR of the TopLED and higher powered OSLON Black series. The SFH 4710’s compact package features a viewing angle of 130° and a chip with an edge length of 750 micrometers (μm). At just 1.6 x 1.2 x 0.8 mm, this Oslon IR Compact LED is one of the smallest IRED devices within its output class. The SFH 4710 is ideal for applications where a high performance is required but where space is limited.
