The P1D - Standard Cylinders are manufactured and supplied with an initial non-toxic, food industry approved transparent grease, that is free from PTFE and silicone. Note An external guide should be used with the P1D cylinders if they are operated in applications where significant lateral loads on the piston rod may exist. Using the P1D cylinder without an external guide may reduce the service life of the unit.
