These Power over Ethernet power injectors are 10/100/1000 Base-T compatible, have a high efficiency of 75% typically and are equipped with short circuit, over voltage and over current protection. It is compliant to the existing IEEE802.3af standard and is good for 10baseT and 100baseT data performance Data Pair Injectors - All Phihongs’ other PoE midspan injectors (single-port or multi-port) up to 60W output are Data Pair Injectors and use "Phantom" powering with center-tapped signal transformers to apply the power onto the 2 pairs of data wires. This allows all the Data Pair Injectors to be compliant to the performance of 10baseT, 100baseT and 1000baseT (Gigabit). Stk nos. 232-787 (POE20U single port), 413-437 (POE370U 8 port) and 666-8236 (POE125U 8 port) are to the existing IEEE802.3af standard, whereas, the 33.6W models, stk no. 666-8217 (POE36U single port) and stk no. 666-8239 (POE125U 4 port) meet the High Power IEEE802.3at standard Spare Pair and Data Pair powering - ULTRA Power midspans stk nos. 666-8211 (POE60U single-port) and 666-8220 (POE80U single-port), have a combination of Spare Pair and Data Pair powering over the full 8 wires. There are no specific IEEE standards for these yet. The midspans are compliant to the performance of 10baseT, 100baseT and 1000baseT (Gigabit).
