It is supplied with full versions of the PicoScope and PicoLog software so that all of its capabilities are ready to use. The unit is powered from the USB port so there are no batteries or external power supply to worry about. The circuit board of the USB DrDAQ® consist of a microphone, light sensor, RGB LED, oscilloscope and resistance inputs, 4 digital I/O ports, 3 sensor ports, an oscilloscope input, a pH/redox sensor input and a signal generator output. The unit is powered from the USB port so there are no batteries or external power supply to worry about. The new USB DrDAQ® offers several new features, particularly those of the combined function generator and generator for user-defined waveform. It also has an RGB LED that you can program to show any colour of the light spectrum and other colours Two of the digital I/Os include a pulse-counting function when used as inputs, and a pulse-width modulation (PWM) output capability. The sensor connections can be used with the full range of temperature, humidity and oxygen sensors from the Pico Technology for DrDAQ® as well as with user-specific sensors, those developed by the customer himself. You can manage all aspects of the device with the Software Development Kit (SDK) included in the delivery along with fully documented functions, so that you can integrate it into your self-written programs. The kid includes programming examples for C, C++, Microsoft Excel and National Instruments LabVIEW.
