All EBDSPIR-HB presence detectors can be set up from ground level using a simple programming handset (742-4144). The PIR sensor is sensitive to movement. The EBDSPIR-HB-AD PIR (passive infrared) presence detector (742-4135) provides automatic control of lighting loads with optional manual control. It can be used on fluorescent and compact fluorescent lighting with 1-10V analogue dimming ballasts. The unit detects movement using a PIR sensor and turns the load on. When an area is no longer occupied the load will switch off after an adjustable time out period. The detector can be used to control the light output of luminaires that are fitted with dimming ballasts. The detector measures the overall light level in the detection area and calculates the correct output for the luminaires, to achieve a preset lux level (maintained illuminance). For ceiling, aisle or luminaire mounting, and the cut-out is 64 mm diameter.Range at 15 meter height is 5.1 m x 5.1 mRange at 6 meter height is 2.0 m x 2.0 m RS, Professionally Approved Products, gives you professional quality parts across all product categories. Our range has been testified by engineers as giving comparable quality to that of the leading brands without paying a premium price. Occupancy Lighting Controllers Lighting controllers designed for use within offices and warehouses. Available with dual sensors for detecting ambient light and physical movement. Outputs are in the form of switch contacts (standard types). A dimming control output version is available for use with electronic ballasts. This can control up to 10 ballasts, ideal where daylight compensation is required with constant ambient light.
