It is thin (12mm) yet exceptionally strong thanks to its hardened surface, which makes it tough enough to be permanently placed on decks or roofs, where it can even be walked on! The panel is flexible so mounting on curved roofs or decks is also possible. Producing 45W of output power, 2.90A current at 14.7V, the panel will produce 180Wh (watt hours) of power, based on 4 hours of sunlight exposure. This is enough to power larger caravans for an entire fortnight, power full size TVs and laptops, or off-grid lighting systems.4A Charge Regulator - Provides protection for connected batteries against potential damage caused either by overcharging (when the battery is full but the panel is still providing power to it) or by deep discharge (when the battery is nearing a totally discharged state but no power is being supplied to the battery from the panel to top it up). A simple red LED indicates when the battery is charging and green LED indicates the battery is full. Special Panel Fixing Adhesive - The panel can either be mounted using screws through the 4 corner screw holes or using the special panel fixing adhesive provided in the kit.10m Battery Connection Cable - The Sunset Sunset SM 45L kit includes a generous 10m (32 ft) cable for connecting the panel to on-board batteries to charge. Two battery terminals are also provided to securely attach the connection cables to the battery.
