The PIDG ("Pre-Insulated Diamond Grip") product range meets the requirements of military standards MIL-T-7928 and BS4G178. The terminals are constructed from high grade copper. The crimp barrel has inner serrations to ensure maximum contact with the stripped wire strands. A bonded nylon to copper sleeve is secured onto the terminal barrel providing simultaneous crimping of conductor and outer insulation giving a connection of high tensile strength and vibration resistance.
