Three styles of connector shells are available, fixed receptacles, free (in-line) receptacles and cable mounted plugs. All are available in pin or socket configurations. The free receptacles allow in-line connections with the cable mount plugs. All are rated at 250Vac, with a temperature rating of -55°C to +105°C. Insulation resistance ≥5000MΩ.,Series 1 offers standard density. Series 2 enables a higher density of contacts and series 3 a low density of contacts for power applications. For full information on contacts and tooling see other Range 'AMP CPC Contacts and Tooling',Sealing accessories are available for IP65 protection for Series 1. Fixed receptacles require a flange seal. For cable mounting shells use standard series 1 shells in conjunction with a cable entry seal.,Series 3 connectors are rated at 35A and use pin contacts stock no. 282-6292 (16-12awg), stock no. 282-6309 (10-8awg) and socket contacts stock no. 282-6315 (16-12awg), stock no. 282-6321 (10-8awg). Note also that the gland adaptor backshells connect any standard PG threaded cable gland to the respective CPC cable or panel mounted shell.
