Widely used in marine, transport, offshore and other high specification applications the boots offer excellent sealing and strain relief of cable/connector terminations. Other features include low smoke index as defined by NES711, low toxicity index as defined by NES713 and high temperature index as defined by NES715. Approved to DEF STAN 59//97 iss.3 type DF. Dielectric strength 15MV/m minimum. The boots may be used with spin coupling backshells or where ever the connector offers suitable rear mounting. It should be noted that if boots are used with sealant kit stock no. 239-1516, this kit does not meet the zero halogen properties of type - 100 boots.
