These FASTON 250 series quick connect flag style crimp receptacle terminals use Tab-Lok style crimp terminations where a tab on the wire barrel is inserted through a slot in the terminal then crimped by being flattened between two lances which are then locked over the tab. The rear of these FASTON 250 series quick connect flag style crimp receptacle terminals incorporates a lance stop to prevent over-insertion of tabs. Note A double action hand tool is available for crimping receptacles with a wire size range of AWG 18-14 - see stock number 246-6705 Faston Experience over widespread segments of industry has proved this crimp to be the most effective way of assuring stable electrical & mechanical performance. Applied with matching tooling, the 'F' crimp offers precise tensile strength and conductivity that will last the life of the circuit.
