These castors have a sturdy design, with precision ball beating. These castors have an added benefit of having a cast iron centre. Available as either a fixed plate design or as a a swivel castor. Soft Tread - Polyurethane Cast Tyre Polyurethane tyred wheels have high tear strength and abrasion resistance which gives them a life of up to 10 times that of rubber under similar operating conditions. Polyurethane is able to carry loads approaching that of cast iron. Polyurethane has a lower tractive resistance than rubber for the same load so is better for manual handling of very heavy loads. Polyurethane is not affected by greases and mineral oils. |
