For the first time it is possible to precisely measure the temperature from large and small distances of surfaces with the smallest of diameters. This is made possible through the switchable optics for long range and exact point measurements. For long-range measurements the Testo 845 is equipped with an optical resolution of 75:1 (only works for distances of 1.2 meters). Which enables the measurement of surface temperatures even from a large distance. From a distance of 1.2 meters from the measurement object the measurement diameter is only 17 mm. During the measurement an X laser marks the measurement point so that you always know exactly where you're measuring. The exact point optics makes it possible to measure temperatures of surface areas with a diameter of only 1 mm from a distance of 70 mm! Two lasers mark the exact measurement point.
