It measures flow speed, volume flow and temperature. Integrating measurement with the 100 mm vane makes it ideal for measurements at air outlets and inlets. The flow direction – drawing in or blowing – is visible in the display. The optional funnel set enables measurements to be made at ventilator grilles and disc valves. Volume flow is shown directly on the display. Duct area can be easily entered into the testo 417 for volume flow calculations. It can also be switched to display the current temperature measurement. Timed and point mean calculations provide information about the average volume flow, flow rate and temperature. The hold function retains the current measured value on the display, min./max.-Values are also shown at the push of a button.
