Description | H0 Tillig Track Elite Code 83 Technical data Size H0 Manufacturer part No. 85139 Track type Filler track Category H0 Tillig Elite Type Module balancing piece, movable rail profiles Content 5 pc(s) Age category 15 years and over Highlights & details Profile height 2.1 mm0.8 mm head width Description The H0 Elite track system is the top-of-the-range product from Tillig. With many different track and points formats, and the universal rail profile (NEM wheel sets run just as well as RP25 wheels), this track is ideal for self-build of generous and close reproduction model railway systems. Enthusiasts of the Länderbahn era will find goodies here too. They are served with short points with modest track length. Of special note is the low rail profile of just 2.1 mm (Code 83) with the extremely low head width of 0.8 mm. The system is complemented by a construction range in which the custom length modifications can be made to the points so that almost every layout can be reconstructed. In addition, all points are easily formable, so that constructors are never forced by a fixed grid. The points tongues are not affected by turning joints, true to real life, they are depicted as continuous flexible tongues. The grid unit for straight rails is 228 mm (1 length unit). Four different radii with 59 mm track distance correspond directly to the real-life track geometry, where the track distance is 5.13 m. Flex tracks fulfil the requirements for custom track systems and can be obtained in wood and concrete sleeper reproductions. Please lay these tracks on a cork or rubber bed and add ballast yourself. Our basalt ballast is particularly well suited. Features Movable rail profiles |
