The combination of a control system with matching motor makes it easy to choose the drive components and makes it possible to build very compact, decentralised solutions. All the components presented here are based on a 2-phase high-torque hybrid-stepmotor with a base angle of 1.8° (200 steps per revolution). The individual types differ in flange size, length,holding torque, interfaces and shafts Ø. The type specification tells the flange size (28, 42, 57, 60 mm) in each case. Up to PD-013,which has only one power driver (256 micro steps) with clock and direction input, all the others are equipped with a motion-controller with TMCL™ and 16 micro steps . The maximum speeds are typically 500 rpm, whereby the motors with smaller flange size can basically rotate faster than the ones with bigger flange size. All PANdrives™ up toPD-108 have the sensorless downtime detection stallGuard™. The latest sensOstep™ models (identified by –SE in the type designation) have an extra integrated absolute encoder for controlling the position. Also available with a CANopen™ firmware (CiA 301, 402). |
