The CM410 automatically detects NiZn batteries and applies a charging current especially developed for their higher voltage. For NiCD and NiMH batteries, 3 charging currents can be set.The CM410 is an intelligent charger with a microprocessor, which controls each charging slot individually, meaning it can carry out 4 different charge, discharge or maintenance functions at once. Charge batteries of differing makes, sizes, chemistries or capacities simultaneously.The refresh and train maintenance functions bring tired, old batteries back to life and increase the lifetime of all batteries. Weak batteries are easy to detect thanks to accurate capacity measurement and LCD display.To save energy, once all charging/maintenance tasks are complete, the CM410 reverts to energy saving mode, whereby the charger's energy consumption is significantly reduced but all batteries continue to be monitored for capacity and trickle charge applied should the capacity of a battery begin to fall.
