The radio is simply pushed through a notch in a light and connected to 230 V. The offset IR-receiver is inserted through the ceiling so that the device can be controlled completely by using infrared. The tuner provides for a good reception via a wire aerial, which can be enhanced further by connecting to the house antenna. Up to five halogen spot-loudspeakers HLS 51 can be connected. The radio can be used optionally via an IR-remote control (Order No. 61 34 62) or via a flush-mounted operating unit (Order No. 61 34 64). The radio needs a power supply of 230 V, which can be supplied, if needed, via an external switch, so that enjoying music becomes as simple as switching on a light.
