| Description | Precision granite measuring and control plates, quality 0 = 4 + L/250 -MYTRI Fine Black Granite, which has a very fine-grained, pore-free structure, is used for producing precision granite measuring plates and precision components -The grain size is below 1 mm -Common granite types have grain sizes of 2 to 3 mm -The good homogeneity (density 20 % higher than common granite) provides a hardness that is equally high at almost each position (6 to 7 hardness scale according to Mohs) -A very high flexural strength allows a general resistance to mechanical overload -The moisture absorption capacity is half as high as normal granite, which results in no risk of corrosion -The measurement uncertainties for surfaces or lengths are 1 µm per 1000 mm length and produced according to DIN 876 Delivery: Includes test protocol.
